Kuzu

Root that grows in the forests of China, Japan and India. It has always been used in traditional Chinese medicine to make medicinal drinks. It is of high nutritional value with carbohydrates, fiber, minerals and flavonoids.

PROPERTIES
• De-inflames the intestines and regulates peristalsis, being ideal for both diarrhea and constipation, intestinal spasms, altered intestinal flora.
• De-inflames and regenerates the digestive mucosa, being good in cases of gastroenteritis or stomach acidity.
• Infections and weakness of the respiratory system: Bronchitis, colds, coughs…
• Reduces fever, flu conditions, inflammation of the different body mucous membranes….

MEDICINAL DRINK
Add half a teaspoon of kuzu to half a glass of water at room temperature and dilute it. Add it to a low heat for 2 minutes until it starts to thicken. It is taken hot.
• In case of digestive problems: Add half an umeboshi and a teaspoon of tamari to the water. It is a great remedy for acidity, indigestion, constipation…
• In case of body weakness: Add a teaspoon of kuzu to a glass of oat or almond vegetable drink and dilute it. Add to a slow fire for 2 minutes with ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder and ginger powder respectively. take hot
